22 Caliber Mouth, a musical, is about the power and danger of words…spoken and those that go unsaid. This is revealed to us through the lives of five broken, isolated people, who, when brought together by life are forever changed.Their songs hold the complex feelings their words can not.
When Deanne Campino and Colin Maitlin meet at Mifflan’s bar, one New York City afternoon..life’s mysterious timing ignites in each a spark of hope that this time the terrible shame-filled secrets that have shaped their pasts, may allow them to have something together. We see one character’s transcendence while the other remains propelled by the tragic demons of the psyche and the secrets that shape us all.
